The same individuals have said things that are often complete opposites. Why?

They do and they have for a long time. There have been a few dissenting voices on some networks, but not many. How can they possibly be using the same words and phrases?

It is like they are all reading from a the same script. It seems they are not independent at all.

How can I tell the difference between an independent journalist and a paid propagandist?

An independent journalist will simply give you the facts. They will conduct an interview and let YOU hear the answers, directly from the "horse's mouth."

A paid propagandist will focus upon opinion and try to tell you what to think.
