Christ promised to return within one generation!

Christ promised to return within one generation!

Christ promised to return within one generation!

Almost all of Christianity is looking for the return of Jesus (many are looking for the "rapture") when, according to the scriptures, Jesus returned shortly after the time of his first coming to the earth to die for our sins and to be raised again.

Carefully read the following passages and you will see that Jesus promised to return to the Earth shortly during his ministry, confirmed by other writers in the New Testament as well.

What about the context?

Reading the context around verses in the Bible is very important to make sure that you gain a proper understanding and meaning from the text.  You are encouraged to look up the verses below in your own copy of the Bible.  I will include a link to a King James Version of the Bible on this website below.  Ifyou tap on the link it will open in a new tab.

He Came Soon!

just as Jesus Christ promised repeatedly as recorded in the gospels, and as the other New Testament writers confirmed he did come quickly. He came soon! He gathered his followers together and in righteousness he judged unfaithful Israel, Rome, and the world with the judgments recorded in the book of Revelation.

Jesus kept his word

Are we currently living in Satan’s ‘Little Season’ of deception as foretold in Revelation 20, and is the return of Christ and the one thousand years of the Millennial Reign actually in the past?

Jesus told the real people who were standing right in front of Him: "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." Matthew 24:34

So was Jesus referring specifically to THAT generation, or a distant one far in the future?

Drawing on the seemingly growing understanding that we may be much further along the Biblical timeline than we've all been led to believe, this short book challenges mainstream Futurist church teachings of the Bible, particularly in relation to eschatology.

Subjects covered include the fabrication of the historical narrative, the huge influence the ‘Scofield Reference Bible’ has had on the modern evangelical church, and what exactly the Bible says about the timing of the second coming of Christ in the words of Jesus Himself and His apostles.
