Politicology: how is humanity being ruled?
Politicology is The study of the governing of humanity is called political science. It is a broad social science that examines the theory, practice, and systems of government, power, and public policy. [Wikipedia] (I call it politicology.)
Up until the last 2 to 300 years or so people's were divided geographically and governed locally or regionally through monarchies (they were ruled by kings). A big change took place in about the 18th and 19th centuries. There were revolutions on just about every continent and these revolutions resulted in monarchies being overthrown and being replaced with governmental systems that included some form of democratic involvement of the people.
A voting system was integrated into these governments that gave the people the illusion that they were choosing their leaders themselves.
The American Experiment
- Self-Governance: The belief that citizens are capable of governing themselves from "reflection and choice" rather than relying on a monarchy or military force.
- Government by the People: A radical 18th-century departure where the government acts as an "employee" that answers to the collective citizens, who serve as the "boss".
- Universal Rights:
The philosophical foundation laid out in the Declaration of Independence that all individuals have inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
- Continuous Evolution: The ongoing, and sometimes turbulent, process of reconciling the nation's high ideals with its lived realities—such as the abolition of slavery, the push for civil rights, and managing a deeply diverse, multi-cultural society.
The Truth about Ruling by Consent
The question arises about what should be done when the only options you have for voting for a leader does not include anyone that you want. If you vote for someone you are giving your consent for being ruled by whomever comes to leadership as a result of the election.
There is a time and are not so distant past where all of the world was ruled by Jesus Christ the King of kings and Lord of lords. By and large the world was at peace -- at least there were no great wars.
God the Creator is the ultimate Sovereign of everything and everyone.
There is only one true God and creator. Read Isaiah 45.
in the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth (Genesis 1:1)
However, God the Creator also created other spirit beings even before he created man. Generically, these are called angels. H owever, there are many types of spirit beings that God made and they have different names. When God sends a spirit being with a message to deliver that being will be called an angel. The word angel means messenger.
The Court of Heaven (or the Divine Council)
Members of this heavenly court or Divine Council were present at the creation. God the Creator even included them as he did his creative work. (Emphasis added in the verses below are mine)
[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
[1] Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
[2] Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
[3] Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
[4] Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
[5] Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
[6] Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
[7] When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
[6] Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
[7] And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
[8] And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
[9] Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
[10] Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
[11] But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
[12] And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
God created the Angels before he created man, but he gave man dominion over the Earth -- not the angels. The Angels were expected to serve the men that God had made; however man was made lower than the angels man was not a spirit being. One of these sons of God was very high some people think he's identified as Lucifer I believe he may have rebelled after the creation of man as a result of his pride and jealousy. He became an adversary to man. This is why he is called "the satan". Satan is not a personal name - it is a title of a function, much like an angel is a function as a messenger a satan is a function as an adversary or an opponent.
Ruled by Spirit beings and hybrids?
God the Creator is the ultimate Sovereign of everything that he created. He created Spirit beings that were his representatives in caring for and watching over Humanity as his agents. These spirit beings would be referred to generically as "angels". however the word angel simply means messenger. Any entity that fills the role of carrying or proclaiming a message could be called an angel.
Read what is recorded in the letter to the Hebrews in the first chapter
(the emphasis added in the text below is mine)
[1] God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
[2] Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
[3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
[4] Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
[5] For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
[6] And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
[7] And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
[8] But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
[9] Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
[10] And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
[11] They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
[12] And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
[13] But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
[14] Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Angels are spirits. However, they are able to take upon themselves bodily form, even appearing to be human beings. God created the angels to serve men. They live in the spiritual dimension which we cannot ordinarily observe; albeit -- it is all about us all the time!
Man was actually like a little brother to the sons of God. God never intended that "big brother" or the sons of God would rule over man. it was God's intent that they would watch over man and serve man.
We have many examples in the scriptures where men fell on their faces before Angelic messengers of God to worship them because they recognized them as Spirit beings. However, any faithful Son of God or spirit being would tell men "No! Do not worship me! I am a servant - you must worship God." There were some that were not faithful. They begin accepting worship. These became the false gods of the nations.
The offspring of these sons of God and daughters of men became what would be called demigods. They were often worshiped as well and began to rule over men as their kings.
I believe this is the source for all of the false gods that are worshiped on the Earth and the foundation for all of the different nations pantheons of gods.
Sons of God, Watchers, and Princes
Some of the spirit beings that God created are called sons of God; the Book of Enoch refers to them as watchers; in the New Testament in the book of Ephesians the sixth chapter they are referred to as principalities (princes) in the heavenlies. Man was created with a free will and was made a little bit lower than the angels. The Angels were created first -- they were also given free will. We are limited to this dimension that we experience, unlike the angels that are not because they are Spirit beings. A ngels can take upon themselves human form.
Some of these angels (called sons of God) did exactly this as it's recorded in Genesis chapter 6. They decided to interfere in what God created for the Earth. God did not create the angels to mingle with men however the sons of God, having free will, took this upon themselves and the result was a race of hybrids which were giants. the sons of God corrupted the human seed as well as other creatures that God had made and the world became extremely Wicked due to their interference on the earth.
[1] And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
[2] That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
[3] And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
[4] There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
[5] And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
.
The Book of Enoch
The book of Enoch fleshes out many details about this heavenly incursion into mankind. It is not included in the Canon of the popular King James Version. it is included in other cannons. H owever, there is no doubt that the New Testament writers were well acquainted with the teachings in the Book of Enoch (considering it authoritative), citing it in the books and letters that they wrote.
