What is Godstory for the Future?

God created us to live forever, so "forever" is in our future.

When it comes to specifics, all we can do is read the Scriptures (if we believe they are true) and then properly interpret what the Scriptures say.

Universally Accepted by ALL Believers in Jesus Christ

There will be an eternal state for every human being.

Physical death is ONLY what happens when our body stops living.  That part of us that makes us uniquely human continues to live on.

The most traditional position of Jesus' followers is every human being will continue to live in a spiritual body in heaven or hell; heaven is with God and hell is NOT with God.

When we try and discover what is in our future, what we believe is shaped by what we instructed to believe about the future as it is REVEALED in the Word of God.

if you have attended church for any amount of time, you probably believe whatever you were taught about the future in the church that you attended.  I know that I did.  After reading through the Bible and paying specific attention to what Jesus Jesus Christ said about his own return in the New Testament I have a different view now.
