What do I know?
What do I know?
I know that I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and the Savior of the world and the King of kings and the Lord of lords. I know that I have committed my life (spirit, soul, and body) to Him.
2 Tim. 1:12
[12] For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
Apart from that I do not claim to know anything. I can tell you what I think and I can tell you what I believe but there is not so much that I can tell you that I know.
Intellectual Knowledge versus Experimental Knowledge
Head Knowledge?
I attended formal education controlled by the United States government for 12 years. I was pretty good at memorizing the answers that they wanted me to regurgitate and I was not so good at questioning what I was being taught.
I attended formal education controlled by non-government bodies for 7 years and I became a little better at asking questions still retained a fairly good ability to regurgitate the answers to the questions that I have been taught.
All of my life I have attended to self education controlled by myself. The time that I have devoted to this pursuit has increased year by year since I completed college.
I have come to the place in this self-education that I question everything that comes in through my eyes or my ears or rolls around in my brain.
Sanctified Intellect
If the Word of God tells me that I can know something, I accept and embrace it.
Heart Knowledge?
What I mean by heart knowledge is experimental knowing. Knowing something through experience is exponentially deeper than knowing something only intellectually,-- which is just surface.
